We met with Andoni de la Cruz, also known as Cuero Negro, a Basque graphic artist who plays in local punk and hardcore bands as well. He welcomed us into his Bilbao studio in one of the roughest neighborhoods from northern Spain, San Francisco, which collides heavily with the opulent art scene of the city, and takes us back to the dark and foggy 80s and 90s environment of the city where Spanish punk scene was created. 

His work is inspired by the streets and everything that surround them. Many of its graphics are recycled precisely from elements found in the streets he wanders such as sewers or window displays and advertising of local businesses, which he later brings them over to his universe modifying these symbols or adding his own distinctive stamp.
